New painting. Result of a 2 day workshop by Elizabeth Robbins in connection with the Richeson 75 Still Life & Floral Competition now showing through August in Kimberly, WI. My painting Southwest Window was juried into that show and was picked for the cover of the catalog.
I started two still life paintings. Both were unfinished. The Rose started as a 12 x 9 study which I scraped down and repainted back at the studio on a 14 x 11 canvas. This is the result.
